Melissa Schlueter is a Family Nurse Practitioner at MyCare Medical who is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals and families of all ages.
Her diverse background includes service as a medic in the Army National Guard, experience as a radiologic technologist, and years of nursing practice in pediatric hematology oncology, urgent care, and medical surgical settings.
In addition to her clinical work, Melissa has taught future nurses as a clinical instructor at Rasmussen University in Saint Petersburg College. She is passionate about health promotion, disease prevention, and helping her patients feel informed and supported in every step of their care.
Outside of work Melissa has a strong record of community involvement, volunteering with pediatric cancer, sickle cell, and veteran’s health fairs and has participated in multiple endurance races to raise funds for research and treatment initiatives.
Melissa values building trusting relationships with her patients and takes pride in creating a relaxed environment where each person’s unique needs are met through individualized treatment plans and supportive care.
